Join us this year for a festive exploration of the connections between Lowell’s rivers and canals and the ethnic communities that call our city home.
Celebrate the unveiling of community murals made by Lowell students with artist Lineu Zadereski as well as his on-site original sculpture. There will also be live music provided by 92.5 the River, ethnic food, kids’ activities, and more!
Performance Schedule:
2:15 Cornell Coley Cornell is a gifted, experienced drummer and dancer
in the
traditions of West and Central Africa, Cuba, and Brazil.
2:50 Welcome and opening remarks
3:00 Lowell House of Prayer Brazilian band and dancers
3:20 Bliss This trio will play a variety of originals, blues, folk, country and bluegrass songs.
4:15 40 string students from Greenhalge Elementary will perform!
4:35 Farren Butcher Inc.
CHARLIE FARREN and JON BUTCHER Both master musicians, riveting performers, soulful and expressive singers. Both are hit songwriters, together having sold millions of copies of their songs around the world.
